When I arrived in the South Western United States it was as if I had come home. The landscape was the one I was most familiar with, hot, dry and undeniably beautiful. I was born and raised in Zimbabwe, not too far from the arid veld that rolls into the Kalahari Desert in neighboring Botswana. I often tell people that you could fall asleep in parts of Africa and awake in parts of the USA and not realize you had changed continents until a different animal walked by. The desert is my origin and the desert is now my canvas for the images that I take. I photography the scene as I see it, I work mostly in Black & White with a signature tint that evokes the palette that reflects the tone and mood of the land that is around me. Description from Merchant:
Fine art prints are made with high-quality archival inks on acid free fine art papers using a high-resolution large format printer. These are also known as fine art giclee prints. These exquisite fine art papers are acid free because the acid content of other photographic print paper can make them brittle and crack over time. They will also turn yellow from too much exposure to light.
Fine art prints made with acid free fine art paper have a lifespan of over a hundred years and usually don't fade, crack or turn yellow. Fine art paper has to meet a certain quality criteria in order to be considered fine art paper. Fine art prints are highly sought after by photographers and artists when they select a paper for their clients.
